Designates June 12, 2016, as the 75th Anniversary of the American Tree Farm System in Mississippi.

Recognizes the American Tree Farm System's role in helping family and individual woodland owners sustain forests and protect benefits including clean water, wildlife habitat, and renewable wood supply.

Notes Mississippi's participation in the system since 1944 with 2,650 individuals and families owning 759,502 acres of forested land under the program.

Calls upon Mississippi residents to observe the day with appropriate ceremonies and activities recognizing the importance of family-owned forests.

Directs distribution of the resolution to the Mississippi Forestry Commission and Mississippi Department of Agriculture and Commerce.
