Margaret Grace Post, a 17-year-old junior at Madison Central High School in Madison, Mississippi, was crowned "Miss Mississippi's Outstanding Teen 2015" on June 4, 2015, winning a $5,000 scholarship in her first year of competition

Post competed against 23 other local titleholders after winning the preliminary pageant as Miss Central Mississippi's Outstanding Teen, then represented Mississippi at Miss America's Outstanding Teen Scholarship Pageant in Orlando, Florida

During her reign, she promoted her platform "Get Up and Get Moving!" focused on physical fitness and healthy lifestyles, including organizing a "Tutus and Tennis Shoes" fitness event for 90 children and teaching dance at the Mississippi Children's Museum

Post is an all-A honor roll student active in Student Government Association, Beta Club, National Honor Society, and serves as a senior company member of Mississippi Metropolitan Ballet

The resolution commends Post for bringing honor to her family, school, community, and state, and directs the resolution be presented to her and forwarded to Madison Central High School and Madison County Board of Education
