Recognizes Ralph Morgan's 40-year contributions to the sport of rodeo in Mississippi, with the Ralph Morgan Rodeo in Meridian marking its 40th anniversary on April 8-9, 2016.

Notes that Morgan built a successful logging company before entering the rodeo world in his early twenties and establishing his own rodeo arena by the mid-1970s.

Acknowledges Morgan's positive community and economic impact, including support from Mississippi Commissioner of Agriculture and Commerce Cindy Hyde-Smith and retired Commissioner Lester Spell, Jr.

Recognizes the rodeo as a family entertainment tradition that provides opportunities for youth to pursue rodeo competitions and boosts the local economy through visitor spending.

Directs the resolution to be presented at the Ralph Morgan Rodeo, forwarded to the Commissioner of Agriculture and Commerce, and provided to the Capitol Press Corps.
