Increases the window tint inspection fee from $5.00 to $20.00 per test conducted at official tint inspection stations.

Changes the fee distribution so that inspection stations retain $10.00 and remit $10.00 to the Department of Public Safety, up from the previous $2.00/$3.00 split.

Requires $5.00 of the $10.00 remitted to the Department of Public Safety to be used exclusively for expenses of conducting Mississippi Highway Safety Patrol Trooper training classes.

Effective July 1, 2017.
