Revises Section 25-41-5 of the Mississippi Code to modify requirements for teleconference and video meetings held by public bodies under the Open Meetings Act.

Requires teleconference and video equipment to be located at the place where the public body normally meets or at a public location specified in the meeting notice, and mandates equipment allow all members and public attendees to hear deliberations.

Removes previous requirements for five-day advance notice of teleconference/video meetings, separate public access locations, and audio/visual recordings to be preserved for three years.

Amends Sections 21-3-19, 21-5-13, 21-7-9, 21-8-11, and 21-9-39 to conform municipal charter provisions to the revised teleconference and video meeting standards.

Takes effect July 1, 2017.
