MS HB1142

Creates a seven-member State Employee Capitol Complex Clinic Study Committee to research cost savings and auxiliary benefits of implementing an on-site capitated fee primary care facility within the Capitol Complex and other geographically feasible areas for the State and School Employees Health Insurance Plan.

Committee membership consists of one member each appointed by: the Governor, Speaker of the House, Lieutenant Governor, Chairman of the House Insurance Committee, Chairman of the Senate Insurance Committee, Chairman of the House Public Health and Human Services Committee, and Chairman of the Senate Public Health and Welfare Committee.

Governor shall call the first committee meeting and the committee must submit findings and recommendations to the Legislature no later than November 1, 2017.
