Amends Section 43-15-51 to establish that confidentiality and disclosure of records from multidisciplinary teams and child advocacy centers shall be governed by the Youth Court Act and Uniform Rules of Youth Court Practice.

Prohibits disclosure of information from multidisciplinary team meetings or child advocacy centers unless requested by youth court, county court, chancery court, or circuit court for conducting proceedings.

Clarifies that child advocacy centers provide forensic interviews, medical examinations, mental health services, court advocacy, and training in child-friendly environments to prevent further trauma to child abuse victims.

Amends Section 43-21-259 to explicitly include records, information, and forensic interviews from multidisciplinary teams and child advocacy centers under confidential children's records protection.

Effective date: July 1, 2017.
