Reduces concealed weapon license fee from $80 to $25 for applicants age 65 or older, and caps fingerprint processing costs at $5 for this age group.

Allows applicants age 65 or older to have fingerprints taken at any Mississippi Highway Safety Patrol office instead of only the Department of Public Safety.

Requires immediate fingerprint processing, background checks, law enforcement notifications, and license issuance or denial at the location where fingerprints are taken for applicants age 65 or older.

Reduces renewal fee from $40 to $20 for Mississippi residents age 65 or older.

Effective July 1, 2017.
