Removes the fee imposed on defendants convicted of a criminal offense who appeal their conviction and post a bond conditioned for their appearance

The removed fee was equal to two percent (2%) of the bond's face value or $20.00, whichever is greater, or $20.00 if released on own recognizance pending appeal

Maintains all other bond-related fees for defendants charged with criminal offenses, including the 2% fee or $20.00 for initial bail bonds and the $10.00 domestic violence assessment

Effective date: July 1, 2017
