Extends the sunset date for authorization allowing Jackson County Board of Supervisors and City of Pascagoula to jointly create and operate the LaPointe-Krebs Foundation, Inc. from July 1, 2017, to July 1, 2021

LaPointe-Krebs Foundation, Inc. is a nonprofit, tax-exempt corporation established to preserve, maintain, and operate the LaPointe-Krebs House (locally known as the "Old Spanish Fort") as a historic property

Jackson County Board of Supervisors may contribute up to $50,000 annually to the foundation for preservation, maintenance, upkeep, and operation of the LaPointe-Krebs House

Jackson County and City of Pascagoula shall establish a memorandum of agreement defining the foundation's operation, membership, funding, staffing, and all other operational matters

Act takes effect upon passage and the authorization provisions will expire on July 1, 2021
