Appropriates $3,535,729 for House of Representatives salaries, mileage, insurance, and daily expense allowances, plus $5,470,837 for the House Contingent Fund for fiscal year 2018.

Appropriates $1,450,340 for Senate salaries, mileage, insurance, and daily expense allowances, plus $4,023,128 for the Senate Contingent Fund for fiscal year 2018.

Allocates funds for joint legislative operations ($1,163,056), Joint Legislative Budget Committee ($2,574,831), Performance Evaluation and Expenditure Review Committee ($2,197,430), Reapportionment Committee ($121,751), and Code Committee ($400,000).

Appropriates $2,544,931 for House monthly expense allowance and $1,105,154 for Senate monthly expense allowance, plus $423,398 for state share of various assessments including Southern States Energy Board, Interstate Cooperation, and National Conference of Commissioners on Uniform State Laws.

Requires prior approval from House Management Committee or Senate Rules Committee for out-of-state travel expenses; reappropriates funds from prior year authorizations for legislative operations not to exceed unexpended balances from June 30, 2017.
