Appropriates $1,547,192.00 from the State General Fund to the Office of Capital Post-Conviction Counsel for fiscal year July 1, 2017 through June 30, 2018.

Appropriates an additional $227,145.00 from special source funds available to the department for the same fiscal period.

Authorizes 9 permanent full-time positions for the office.

Requires the office to maintain accounting and personnel records in the same format and detail as Fiscal Year 2017 and submit comparable budget requests for Fiscal Year 2019.

Takes effect July 1, 2017.
