Appropriates $11,881,431 from the State General Fund to the Mississippi Department of Insurance for fiscal year 2018 (July 1, 2017 - June 30, 2018).

Authorizes 139 permanent full-time positions and 5 time-limited full-time positions for the Department of Insurance.

Appropriates $15,079 to the Mississippi Fire Personnel Minimum Standards and Certification Board and $10,000 for National Conference of Insurance Legislators annual dues.

Appropriates $250,000 to the State Fire Marshal's Office for fire safety prevention, supplies, smoke alarms, and public service announcements.

Provides $130,000 from the Propane Education and Research Program Fund for propane research, development, and safety programs; reappropriates $45,000 from the Rural Fire Truck Acquisition Fund for assistance programs.
