Appropriates $97,969,323.00 from the State General Fund to the Department of Child Protection Services for fiscal year 2018 (July 1, 2017 - June 30, 2018).

Appropriates $205,714,244.00 from special funds in the State Treasury to the Department of Child Protection Services for the same fiscal year.

Authorizes 1,536 permanent full-time positions and 417 time-limited full-time positions for the department.

Requires the department to maintain complete accounting and personnel records in the same format and detail as Fiscal Year 2017, and to submit future budget requests in comparable format.

Allocates $93,601.00 from General Fund court assessments to the Mississippi Children's Trust Fund.
