Appropriates $611,870 from the State General Fund and $2,068,313 from special funds to the State Soil and Water Conservation Commission for fiscal year 2018 (July 1, 2017 through June 30, 2018)

Authorizes 11 permanent full-time positions and 4 time-limited full-time positions for the commission

Allocates up to $65,000 for a Beaver Control Cost Share program operated on a fund-matching basis with county governments

Provides up to $50,000 for the Scenic River Development Alliance in Southwest Mississippi

Allows the commission to retain proceeds from equipment sales and to receive and expend bond proceeds authorized under state law for conservation purposes
