Approves expenditure of $1,085,910.00 in special funds for the Pearl River Basin Development District for fiscal year 2018 (July 1, 2017 – June 30, 2018)

Authorizes 4 permanent full-time positions for the district

Requires the agency to maintain complete accounting and personnel records in the same format as fiscal year 2017 and submit budget requests in comparable detail

Directs preference be given to Mississippi Industries for the Blind when purchasing commodities or equipment with equal bids or without competitive bidding

Takes effect July 1, 2017
