Adds exemption from ad valorem taxation for zero turn mowers, mini-excavators, discs, bush hogs, box blades and similar items when held by bona fide dealers as merchandise.

Exemption applies only while equipment is in the hands of dealers and not being operated on highways.

Amends Section 27-51-41 of Mississippi Code of 1972 to include the new equipment exemption alongside existing motor vehicle dealer exemptions.

Takes effect January 1, 2017.
