Authorizes the governing authorities of the Town of Tishomingo in Tishomingo County to construct, expand, operate and maintain a gas distribution system in Sections 3, 4, 5, 8, and 9 of Township 5 South, Range 11 East and Sections 33 and 34 of Township 4 South, Range 11 East.

Limits rates charged to customers outside the town's corporate limits to no more than twice the rate charged for the same service within the corporate limits.

Does not exempt the town from obtaining a Certificate of Public Convenience and Necessity or from Public Service Commission regulation of rates under Mississippi Code Section 77-3-1 et seq.

Takes effect upon passage.
