Allows motorcycles to proceed through red lights at intersections when the motorcycle is the sole occupant of a lane and does not trigger the traffic sensor to change the light to green.

Motorcycles may proceed straight through the intersection or make a turn under this provision, provided they yield the right-of-way to pedestrians and other vehicles lawfully using the intersection.

Motorcycles are prohibited from turning on red if a "No Turn On Red" sign is posted at the intersection.

Applies to both steady red lights and red lights with green arrows when the motorcycle sensor is not triggered.

Effective July 1, 2017.
