Requires inmates eligible for parole, post-release supervision, or probation to receive written and oral notification before release that includes release date, maximum supervision period, conditions for reincarceration, and authorization for warrantless searches of the person, residence, and vehicle by law enforcement officers.

Mandates notification be provided to inmate in writing, read aloud, and acknowledged by inmate signature before release.

Requires Mississippi Department of Corrections to list parolees and probationers on the National Crime Index Computer with notation of supervision status and duration.

Applies requirement to inmates eligible for release after July 1, 2017, and prohibits law enforcement from conducting searches solely for harassment purposes.

Amends Mississippi Code sections 47-7-34, 47-7-35, 47-7-47, 47-7-3, and 47-7-33.1 to require releasing entities provide the prescribed notification under various release programs.
