Amends Section 97-45-17 to prohibit posting photographs, electronic pictures, or images for the purpose of causing injury to another person through any medium of communication, including the Internet.

Creates a new felony offense for obtaining personal identity information of another person and using it to post nude or partially nude photographs, electronic pictures, or images without consent.

Penalties for violations under both provisions are imprisonment for not more than five (5) years or a fine of not more than $10,000, or both.

Brings forward existing identity theft law (Section 97-45-19) and child exploitation law (Section 97-5-33) without substantive changes for purposes of amendment.

Takes effect July 1, 2017.
