Requires candidates and political committees to report the name and address of any individual employed by the candidate or committee, regardless of employment status (full-time, part-time, or contractual).

Mandates that employed individuals submit appropriate IRS Form 1099 to report income received from candidates or political committees for campaign work.

Requires the employment report to be filed annually by January 31, beginning in 2018, with re-filing required if any changes occur to employed individuals.

Makes conforming amendments to Section 23-15-805 and brings forward Sections 23-15-801 and 23-15-809 for possible amendment.

Takes effect July 1, 2017.
