Amends Mississippi Code sections governing compensation for state legislators and certain executive officials to delay salary increases or decreases until the next legislative term after passage.

Salary changes for representatives, senators, and the Lieutenant Governor become effective on the first day of the next legislative term following the term in which the legislation is passed.

Salary changes for the Speaker of the House, President Pro Tempore, and Speaker Pro Tempore become effective on the first day of their next term of office following the legislative term in which the legislation is passed.

Prohibits salary increases or decreases from taking effect during the current term of office for affected legislators and officials.
