Extends the automatic repeal date of Section 41-61-75 from July 1, 2017 to July 1, 2020 for medical examiner and pathologist fee provisions.

Maintains medical examiner fees at $125 per death investigation report plus expenses, with additional $50-$100 for SIDS death scene investigation reports depending on advanced training certification.

Maintains pathologist autopsy fees at $1,000 per completed autopsy plus mileage and reimbursement for third-party testing expenses up to $100.

Preserves expert witness hourly fee provisions for medical examiners, physicians, and pathologists appearing before grand juries, trials, or depositions, paid by the jurisdiction issuing the subpoena.

Effective July 1, 2017.
