Requires the committee to submit annual reports to the House and Senate Public Health committees by December 1, detailing maternal mortality numbers, causes, demographic information, and recommendations for reducing maternal deaths.

Grants the committee access to medical records from physicians, hospitals, and pharmacies, with liability protection for providers who provide records in good faith.

Designates all committee proceedings, records, data, and member opinions as confidential and exempt from the Mississippi Public Records Act and discovery in civil or criminal proceedings.

Authorizes the committee to compile and distribute aggregated, non-identifiable data reports to the Legislature, healthcare providers, and government agencies to study causes and reduce maternal mortality.
