Amends Section 83-11-101 to require uninsured motorist coverage policies include payment for damages from uninsured motor vehicles, specifically those owned or operated by persons protected by immunity under the Mississippi Tort Claims Act once all administrative remedies are exhausted.

Adds a new definition to Section 83-11-103(c)(vi) classifying as an "uninsured motor vehicle" any vehicle owned or operated by a person with immunity under the Mississippi Tort Claims Act, provided the insured has exhausted all administrative remedies under that act.

Applies the requirement to both bodily injury coverage (issued after January 1, 1967) and property damage coverage (issued after January 1, 1980) in automobile liability insurance policies.

Takes effect July 1, 2017.
