Requires the Department of Finance and Administration to annually collect data on renovation and repair expenditures from state institutions of higher learning, community colleges, Department of Mental Health, Department of Corrections, and Department of Wildlife, Fisheries and Parks.

Department must report collected data to the Legislative Budget Office, House Public Property Committee Chairman, and Senate Public Property Committee Chairman before September 1 each year.

Expenditure data shall include amounts from both state and nonstate sources but exclude janitorial, landscaping, administrative support, and amounts expended by DFA through its own administered contracts.

All state agencies, departments and institutions are required to cooperate with the Department of Finance and Administration in providing the requested information.

Effective date is July 1, 2017.
