Restores state assessments on moving traffic violations of $20.00 to the Emergency Medical Services Operating Fund and reduces General Fund allocation from prior deleted amounts.

Restores state assessments on Implied Consent Law violations of $45.00 to the Emergency Medical Services Operating Fund and reduces General Fund allocation from prior deleted amounts.

Redirects speeding, reckless driving, and careless driving violation assessments ($10.00-$30.00) to the Mississippi Trauma Care Systems Fund instead of the State General Fund.

Establishes that the Mississippi Trauma Care Systems Fund receives $15.00 from each $20.00 EMS assessment and $30.00 from each $45.00 Implied Consent assessment for trauma care system administration, public education, and hospital indigent trauma care block grants.

Effective date is July 1, 2017.
