Provides civil immunity from liability for insurers, their employees and agents, and other persons who report suspected insurance fraud in good faith to law enforcement or regulatory agencies.

Immunity covers reports made to the Insurance Integrity Enforcement Bureau, law enforcement officials, the National Association of Insurance Commissioners, Mississippi Insurance Department, federal or state fraud prevention agencies, and similar organizations.

Requires the Insurance Integrity Enforcement Bureau to notify the Workers' Compensation Commission when opening or closing investigations related to workers' compensation fraud, with notification remaining confidential.

Mandates the Insurance Integrity Enforcement Bureau to file annual reports by January 1 to legislative insurance committees detailing case statistics, warrants issued, prosecutions, closures, and expenses from the preceding year.

Effective date: July 1, 2017.
