Amends Section 73-25-38 of the Mississippi Code to extend civil liability immunity to any licensed physician serving as "doctor of the day" for the Mississippi State Legislature, not just retired physicians.

Provides immunity from civil action liability for medical care or treatment provided while voluntarily serving as "doctor of the day" for legislators, state employees, or Capitol visitors.

Exempts immunity from covering acts of willful or gross negligence or misconduct.

Physician must hold either an unrestricted license to practice medicine in any U.S. state or a special volunteer medical license under Section 73-25-18.

Takes effect upon passage.
