Authorizes the Mississippi Commissioner of Public Safety to display blood type on driver's licenses, temporary driving permits, intermediate licenses, and commercial driver's licenses at the request of the recipient.

Permits blood type display on identification cards at the recipient's request.

Makes blood type display optional and prohibits the commissioner from requiring it to be shown on any license or identification card.

Amends sections 63-1-35 and 45-35-3 of the Mississippi Code of 1972.

Takes effect July 1, 2017.
