Removes requirement for disabled persons to submit physician certification when renewing special motor vehicle license plates or decals for disabled parking privileges, allowing annual renewal without recertification.

Applies to both special license plates bearing the International Symbol of Access and special decals affixed to disabled American veteran plates.

Initial application for special plates or decals still requires physician certification that the applicant has a disability limiting ability to walk and will have the disability for at least five years.

Allows disabled persons to retain and renew special license plates or decals indefinitely without submitting updated physician documentation annually.

Effective July 1, 2017.
