Authorizes the University of Mississippi Medical Center to disinter, remove, cremate, and reinter human remains from the potter's field on its property to a different location on the medical center's property when necessary for proper maintenance and management.

Requires the medical center to maintain markers, headstones, or other identification with the remains when identification exists and to keep records of removal and reinterment in the Hinds County Chancery Clerk's files.

Mandates the medical center publish the names of disinterred remains (if known) and make reasonable efforts to notify next-of-kin before disinterment.

Grants the University of Mississippi Medical Center and its officers and employees immunity from legal action arising from maintenance, rearrangement, removal, cremation, or reinterment of remains performed in good faith.

Repeals Section 2, Chapter 846, Local and Private Laws of 1973, as amended by Chapter 854, Laws of 1974, which previously authorized similar actions regarding human remains in the potter's field.
