Proposes an amendment to Section 42 of the Mississippi Constitution to lower the minimum age requirement for Mississippi State Senate members from 25 to 18 years of age.

Maintains existing requirements that senators must have been qualified electors for 4 years and actual residents of their district for 2 years before election.

Scheduled for voter approval at the election on the first Tuesday after the first Monday of November 2018.

Ballot explanation will read: "This proposed constitutional amendment will lower the minimum age requirement to serve as a member of the Mississippi State Senate from twenty-five (25) to eighteen (18) years of age."
