Affirms that prevention is effective in reducing the burden of mental illness and that early treatment allows individuals to recover and lead productive lives.

Calls on businesses, schools, government agencies, healthcare providers, organizations, and citizens to promote mental wellness and increase awareness and understanding of mental health services.
