Commends Coach Gwyn Young, Athletic Director and Head Women's Basketball Coach at Copiah-Lincoln Community College, for achieving his 900th career win on January 26, 2017, with an overall record of 901-250.

Recognizes Coach Young's 40-year career at Copiah-Lincoln, including seven NJCAA Region XXIII titles, eight MACJC state titles, and six NJCAA National Tournament appearances without a losing season since 1980-1981.

Acknowledges Coach Young's induction into four halls of fame (NJCAA Women's Basketball, Copiah-Lincoln, Mississippi Community and Junior College Sports, and Mississippi Association of Coaches) and multiple Coach of the Year awards between 1989-2013.

Notes Coach Young's former players have signed with 37 different colleges and universities, with many becoming coaches themselves, and the basketball court at Mullen Gymnasium was named in his honor in 2011.
