Commends Palmer Baptist Church in Ripley, Mississippi on its 100th year anniversary, recognizing the church's spiritual excellence and community contributions since its founding in 1912 as a Sunday School class.

Acknowledges the church's growth and development over 100 years, including construction of its first church building in 1921, addition of classrooms in 1948, a parsonage in 1963, a nursery in 2009, and a new Family Life Center in 2011.

Recognizes the leadership of numerous pastors throughout the church's history, including founders Norris Palmer and Clarence Palmer, and current pastor Richie Hatcher, who oversaw construction of a new sanctuary seating nearly 300 people completed in 2017.

Praises the church as a valued community institution firmly rooted in biblical principles that has empowered families and spread the Christian faith in Ripley and surrounding communities.

Directs that copies of the resolution be provided to Pastor Richie Hatcher and the Capitol Press Corps.
