Commends the Wilk-Amite Record, LLC in Gloster, Mississippi for 125 years of continuous operation since its founding in 1892 as The Valley Record.

Recognizes the newspaper's ownership history, including founders William Douglas Caufield, subsequent owners O.C. McDavid and his son George E. McDavid, David and Mary Lou Webb (longest family ownership at 60+ years), Betty Stevens, Billy Anders, and current owner Gregory Adams of eCom Direct, Inc.

Notes that Gregory Adams became the first African American owner of the Wilk-Amite Record when he acquired it in July 2014.

Acknowledges the planned 125th anniversary celebration scheduled for October 13-15, 2017, featuring a parade from Liberty to Woodville with Olympic Gold Medalist Tori Bowie as Grand Marshal, concerts, and a gala at Planter Hardware in Woodville.

Supports efforts by eCom Direct and the Gloster Economic Development Association to establish a museum on Main Street to preserve the newspaper's historical artifacts, including a Linotype printing press.
