Commends the Jones County Junior College Bobcats baseball team for winning the college's first NJCAA Division II World Series Championship on June 4, 2016, defeating Gateway Community College 7-1 in Enid, Oklahoma.

Recognizes the team's record-setting season with 54 wins, Region 23 championship, and outstanding individual player achievements including Erick Hoard as World Series Most Valuable Player and Mason Irby as NJCAA First Team All-American.

Honors Head Coach Chris Kirtland for receiving Region 23 Coach of the Year Award and Coach of the Tournament Award, and Assistant Coach Travis Creel for helping players reach their potential.

Affirms the House of Representatives' policy to recognize Mississippi student-athletes whose excellence on the field and in the classroom brings honor to their school, community, and state.

Directs copies of the resolution be furnished to Head Coach Chris Kirtland and the Capitol Press Corps.
