Recognizes and honors the Salem High School 1967 Wildcats Baseball Team on the 50th anniversary of winning the state championship with an undefeated record of 18 wins and no losses.

Acknowledges the team's accomplishment as the only school team in Walthall County to ever win a state championship in baseball, defeating Coffeeville in the championship round.

Names the 17 players and team manager, with Head Coach Eldredge Boyd listed as the team's coach.

Commemorates the reunion celebration scheduled for March 3, 2017, including a meal at Stogner's Fish Camp, recognition at Tylertown High School baseball park, and re-presentation of the championship trophy to be placed in the school gymnasium.

Directs copies of the resolution be provided to each team member, coach, and members of the Capitol Press Corps.
