Amends Section 37-9-105 of Mississippi Code to add requirements for notification of assistant teachers regarding nonreemployment.

Requires school districts to give assistant teachers written notice of nonreemployment by June 30, but not later than 10 days after the local school board adopts the district's annual budget for the forthcoming academic school year.

Exempts interim conservators appointed under Section 37-17-6(14)(a) and school boards acting on recommendations from financial advisors from complying with the time limitations in this section.

Effective July 1, 2017.
