Exempts active duty members of the U.S. Armed Forces who are Mississippi residents from purchasing hunting and fishing licenses, regardless of where they are stationed.

Exempts honorably discharged veterans of the U.S. Armed Forces who are Mississippi residents from purchasing hunting and fishing licenses.

Requires exempted military members and veterans to carry military identification, Department of Defense Form 214 (DD214), or other proof acceptable to the commission while hunting or fishing.

Increases resident combination hunting and fishing license fee from $17.00 to $25.00 and sportsman's license fee from $32.00 to $45.00.

Takes effect July 1, 2017.
