Department of Corrections shall develop case plans for parole-eligible inmates convicted on or after July 1, 2014, in consultation with the Parole Board to guide rehabilitation and reduce recidivism.

Case plans must be completed within 90 days of admission and include programming/treatment based on risk and needs assessment, any sentencing order requirements, and general behavior requirements.

Department shall provide written case plan to inmate, notify inmate of parole eligibility date within 90 days of admission, and send case plan to Parole Board for approval.

Caseworker shall meet with inmate every 8 weeks to review case plan progress, and department shall submit progress reports to Parole Board every 4 months.

Parole Board shall provide semiannual reports to the Oversight Task Force on number of parole hearings held, prisoners released to parole without hearing, and parolees released after hearing.
