Amends Mississippi Code sections 49-7-5 and 49-7-9 to allow the Mississippi Commission on Wildlife, Fisheries and Parks to waive hunting and fishing license requirements for honorably discharged veterans with combat-related disabilities participating in special hunts, fishing trips, or outdoor recreational events exclusively for such persons.

Authorizes the commission to establish criteria and procedures to recognize sanctioned organizations that provide outdoor recreational opportunities for wounded or disabled veterans.

Events sponsored by recognized organizations and participating eligible veterans are automatically entitled to the license waiver without requiring additional commission or sponsoring organization action.

Applies the waiver to both residents and nonresidents who meet the veteran disability requirements.

Takes effect July 1, 2017.
