Adds three new exemptions from alarm contracting licensure for individuals and companies licensed by the State Board of Contractors to perform both electrical work and alarm/security systems work.

Creates exemption for companies or qualifying agents licensed before July 1, 2014, to perform electrical work and alarm systems, access systems, and security systems work in industrial plants or material handling facilities.

Establishes exemption for Mississippi residents licensed as qualifying agents for out-of-state companies performing both electrical work and alarm/security systems work.

Adds exemption for owners, management companies, or public institutions and their employees designing, installing, repairing, or testing telemedicine and remote patient-monitoring services during normal job duties.

Takes effect July 1, 2017.
