Expands the time period for correcting filed documents from 60 days to 120 days if the document contains inaccuracies, defective signatures, or electronic transmission errors.

Changes the venue for appealing the Secretary of State's refusal to file a document from the county where the entity's principal office is located to the Chancery Court of the First Judicial District of Hinds County.

Prohibits charitable organizations as defined in Section 79-11-501 from converting to a different entity type under Article 4.

Requires foreign converting entities to file copies of conversion documents from their jurisdiction of formation and requires foreign domesticating entities to file domestication documents and certificates of good standing from their new jurisdiction.

Changes the treatment of a registered foreign entity's business registration from cancellation to amendment to reflect its new status when a conversion becomes effective, and specifies that conversions require domestication compliance before becoming effective as of July 1, 2017.
