Amends Mississippi Code sections 37-17-7 and 37-15-33 to require public schools, community colleges, and universities to accept course credits and grades from nonpublic schools accredited by specified accrediting agencies

Recognizes course credits and grades from nonpublic schools accredited by: Mississippi Association of Independent Schools (MAIS), Southern Plains Association of Christian Schools, Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS), American Association of Christian Schools, Association of Christian Schools International, Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools, Mississippi Association of Christian Schools, and Mississippi Private School Education Association

Students transferring from accredited nonpublic schools are eligible for enrollment in Mississippi community colleges, junior colleges, and Mississippi Institutions of Higher Learning based on their accredited coursework

Takes effect July 1, 2017
