Corrects the term "Intercoastal" to "Intracoastal" Waterway in Mississippi shrimping season regulations.

Adds closure of waters "west of the Gulfport Ship Channel" from May 1 until the first Wednesday of June for shrimping.

Maintains existing shrimp season opening on the first Wednesday of June, with closure from January 1 until opening except south of the Intracoastal Waterway.

Retains protective and staging areas for young shrimp that are permanently closed to commercial and recreational shrimping, with detailed geographic descriptions from Mississippi-Alabama state boundary to Highway 90 bridge.

Specifies that future Coast Guard beacon number redesignations will not alter the boundary descriptions in the statute.
