The fee covers taking and recording the marriage license application, filing and recording consent of parents (when required), medical certificate, proof of age, issuing the license, and recording returns

$14.00 of each marriage license fee collected continues to be deposited into the Victims of Domestic Violence Fund on a monthly basis
