Honors the military, civic and charitable service of Eugene S. Clarke, III, a Hollandale businessman who passed away on November 29, 2016.

Clarke graduated from Hollandale High School in 1951 and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Mississippi State College in 1955, where he completed the Air Force ROTC Program and was commissioned a Second Lieutenant.

Served as a Long-Range Bomber Pilot in the Strategic Air Command before establishing a career as a Certified Public Accountant spanning over 50 years, including founding Clarke, Bradley, Baker & Co., LLP in Hollandale in 1962.

Active in his community as a member of Hollandale First United Methodist Church, the Hollandale School Board, Hollandale Rotary Club, and served as Scoutmaster for Boy Scout Troop 53.

Survived by his wife of 61 years, Grace; two sons including Mississippi Senator Eugene Singleton "Buck" Clarke IV; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
